Mendoza-Riachuelo Basin Class Action

In 2008, the National Supreme Court of Justice ruled that the basin's environment must be restored. More than 10 years after this ruling, very little progress has been made, and the affected people are absent from the process. To promote social participation, we developed, among other actions, a digital citizen science platform (Riachuelo, what´s up?) through which the basin community can generate information and dialogue with the authorities. The collaborative mapping proposed by the platform makes it possible to organise, systematise and share the visions and knowledge accumulated over the years by social and scientific organisations and other actors that generate actions in pursuit of environmental justice in the basin.
