NGO Hecho Por Nosotros and B Corp AnimanàHecho Por Nosotros, with consultative status at the United Nations Economic and SocialCouncil (ECOSOC), aims to strengthen the Creative Circular Economy through technologicaldevelopment, promoting sustainable and inclusive practices. Founded by Adriana Marina, anAshoka Fellow recognized for her leadership in social change, we focus on improving the lives ofsectors often excluded from the traditional economic system, such as Indigenous artisans,microenterprises, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) worldwide.Our work is carried out through the B Corp Animanà, a company that embodies andsupports these principles. Animanà believes in a production model that prioritizessustainability, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship. The organization focuseson validating and enhancing the traditional knowledge of these producers, combining it withinnovative technologies to create products that respect the environment and contribute to a circulareconomy.We are moving away from traditional linear production models, prioritizing sustainability throughinnovative production techniques and responsibly sourced materials. Through a co-creationapproach, we ensure that the actors involved in our projects—whether artisans, entrepreneurs, orproducers—actively participate in the design and development of products that represent theircultural identity and meet high sustainability standards. This process strengthens their skills andknowledge and opens new opportunities in the global market, promoting responsible productionthat respects local resources.In addition, we provide digital tools, training, and platforms that allow these actors to accessessential resources, showcase their products, and compete in an increasingly demanding globalmarket. This inclusive approach contributes to the resilience of local economies and global growthwhile maintaining a focus on sustainable practices.Our vision is to create a more just, resilient, and inclusive economic model where all actors haveequal opportunities for development and growth. Through our programs, we help these producersface modern challenges such as sustainability, digitalization, and global integration. We areconvinced that by working with small and medium-sized enterprises, we are contributing tobuilding a future where responsible production, collaboration, and innovation are the pillars of aneconomy aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
