Fundación HD Lorena Huntington
The Foundation was created on November 13, 2014, to coincide with the world day of Huntington's disease. Being also the first Foundation Argentina dedicated to the promotion of the scientific research of pathology. Our main objective as a Foundation is to promote through economic funding scientific research aimed at getting new treatments for the HD.
GOALS
Promote research in neurodegenerative diseases, especially in Huntington's disease, and cooperate to public beneficence.
PROGRAMS
Promotion of Scientific Research
Investigate and promote scientific research on neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington Pathology.
Diffusion and awareness of neurodegenerative diseases
Increasing awareness and disseminating information about the existence of such diseases are generally rare, but serious social consequences.
Social support to families of the Huntington community
Financial support to families with Huntington patients, who also have unresolved basic needs.
