Responde is a Non-Governmental Promotion and Development that has his eye on regional imbalances, migration of villagers to cities that do not contain them, and waste of economic resources, cultural and social conditions in each small town.

GOALS

Responde promotes the social and economic development of rural villages in Argentina, with its sights set on the country's territorial imbalances. It conducts research and generates new information, drives projects that utilize their existing resources and reveals to the world their unknown natural and cultural potential.

OBJECTIVES

- To become the most creative and innovative NGO in the resolution of the problems that affect small towns at risk.
- Transcend the national scene as motors of the implementation of public and private policies that support the development of villages.
- To create recovery models to be implemented in various Latin American countries affected by the same problem.

PROGRAMS

 Self-Sustaining Villages

Promotes the self-provision and proper food-supply of small rural communities based on the natural resources that they already have. It also encourages the production of food required by the market that generates some profit, allowing the growers to overcome starvation and poverty.

 Tourism in Rural Villages

Promotes local economic development, favoring the participation of village residents in activities such as service providers in bed & breakfast and home stays, restaurants, tourism, sightseeing and the sale of local artisan products.

 WINGS

This program promotes the creation of Socio-Economic-Cultural Extension Centers that include a library, a museum, a virtual classroom (with Internet access), a cultural, economic & social activities room, and a café.

 Teaching our Skills

Is given by retired people who live in cities and have a skill. The program promotes the meeting in rural villages between those who are eager to share their knowledge and those who need it.
