A.C.S.O --- Argentinian Club Service Organization
ACAS is a non profit organization which builds schools in the border areas of Argentina and, also, supports them with permanent assistance in the form of scholarships, donations and health promotion campaigns. Thus, the 25 clubs which integrate ACAS organize differente types of charity actions in their respective communities in order to be create a close bong between them and our organizations. PRONAEF, dental care campaign, scholarship programs are examples of the ACAS support.
We were born in 1982 under the name Argentinian Club Service Organization (A.C.S.O) - a non - governmental orgainisation which promotes supportive and volunteer education - oriented service.
We build boder kindergarten, primary and secondary schools in isolated Argentinian areas. Most of them replaced the Country School for Suitable schools or became the only school for that isolated communitity and, thus, we provide education for all of its members. Nowadays, the schools are located in Entre Rios, Corrientes, Misiones, Formosa, Jujuy, Catamarca, La Rioja, San Juan and Salta provinces.
More than 2,700 students and 250 teachers attend our schools, where they receive and provide proper educational conditions. A.C.A.S activities consist of more than just building schools, we have improved them by implementing different programs in oder to support our educational community.
GOALS
We concentrate our efforts on the construction and maintenance of school buildings in inhospitable areas along the borders of Argentina, promoting and developing educational projects which strengthen the bonds of isolated populations with the rest of our country. Our social and health campaigns help to improve the life quality of children from distant and forsaken communities.
OBJECTIVES
- To assist the local communities of each of the CAS clubs by acting as social support links among those who need help and those who can provide it. Our Clubes Argentinos de Servicio promote important activities, collaborating with municipal and provincial authorities; providing elements to improve hospital services, supporting assistance centres, nurseries, special needs schools, libraries, care homes for the elderly, granting scholarships for students and bringing together municipal and/or communal authorities as well as with other non profit entities in the organization of cultural activities, etc.
- To promote and develop educational projects intended to strengthen the integration into the country of populations in isolated border areas. Thus, the NATIONAL PROGRAM FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF SCHOOLS IN BORDER AREAS IS ACAS’s GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT: to build schools near the country frontiers, so that not a single Argentine child is deprived of access to education, even if he/she lives in an inhospitable area.

SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAM
Scholarships for students completing their primary education at our schools, and who wish continue their education.
SCHOOL SPONSORING PROGRAM
Under this interesting project, one or more ACAS clubs (or external sponsors, individuals, foundations or companies) are in permanent contact with one of these schools, learn about their needs, and organize visits to provide assistance and distribute donations (clothes, books, educational material, etc)
DENTAL CARE PROGRAM
A group of volunteer teachers and senior students of Dentistry at the National University of Rosario make periodic visits, organized and funded by this program, to bring dental care to the students and the community around our schools. So far, this program has been implemented at Escuela Nº 1 (Pueblo Illía) and Nº 8 (Colonia Aurora), both in the Province of Misiones.

Dental Program in CAS Border Schools
We need your help to be able to specify the Dental Program (2024 Edition) in our Border Schools. For more than 10 years, with the development of the DENTISTRY PROGRAM, we have achieved that thousands of Argentine children who live in isolated areas and do not have nearby health centers, have access to oral health care, increasing their quality of life. School Nº 12 (Corrientes) enlargement
We are constructing a 95 m2 building with the aim of enlarging school Nº 91 facilities, "Cándida Silveira de Silva" (Corrientes province). Not only we are going to provide a better place to study, but also we going to imrpove the educational and health conidition for the whole community.
